We may not see so much smoke and smog in the air as there used to be but there are minute particles and bacteria and yeast spores smaller than the ey can easily see. Using air filters you can clean the most particles from the air and with an air purifier you can also kill bacteria and bugs. Which goes to prove that the cost of the equipment is a small price to pay for cleaner air to breathe.
